About Leah
I am a mother of five- three of my kids have dyslexia! I am also a special education teacher with 15 years of experience and two masters degrees in education.
I LOVE to see my students find success as they gain new skills and build their confidence.

The best reading instruction comes when the teacher understands the learner’s needs. Using research-based science of reading materials, we will engage in fun activities to lower your learner’s frustration level and increase engagement. When instruction is boring, kids tend to give up. We can have fun AND learn basic reading skills.
A phonemic awareness screener (often used for dyslexia screening) will be our first session, so each learner will receive instruction based on their specific needs.
