About Kirsten
With over a decade of special education experience across public and private settings, I work with students from PreK through 12th grade. I bring specialized training in the Orton-Gillingham and Wilson methods, along with a Dyslexia Certification (2021).
My approach is flexible, personal, and encouraging. I focus on meeting students where they are, helping them build solid academic skills, and boosting their confidence so they can tackle challenges on their own.

My lessons are customized to each student using explicit teaching, repetition, and multi-sensory techniques rooted in the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham frameworks.
Whether your child has dyslexia or just needs extra support with reading, writing, or spelling, I keep sessions engaging and fun. My goal is to break down learning step-by-step so your child actually enjoys the process and gains lifelong reading confidence.
