About Chellisa
I am fully prepared to provide the patience and encouragement your child needs to thrive. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally masters a new skill and gains newfound confidence.
Here are some of my accomplishments with first graders.
Kourtney U. was reading at a 1st grade level and struggling to pass. After less than 4 months, she improved from Fs to As and now reads on a 6th grade level.
DaLyn W. raised his reading level in just 12 weeks and started thriving across multiple subjects thanks to his boosted reading confidence.
Cortez was failing reading in the first quarter of 1st grade. After just 10 weeks in the program, he began reading on a 4th grade level and was recognized by his teacher as one of the most improved in class.
Jimia A. went from overwhelmed and frustrated to mastering reading and excelling in advanced topics—setting them up for long-term academic success.

I specialize in English Language Arts /Reading with 1st-3rd graders. With me students master reading to feel confident, proud, and thrive in school without struggling through homework, falling behind and or feeling embarrassed in class. I also have experience with Special Education, creating supportive environments where every learner feels capable of success.
