About Richard

Are you a current VCE student who has set their sights on smashing psychology 3/4 and wants to achieve their dream score?!

Are you a current VCE parent who wants to see their child succeed?!

Hey everyone, I’m Richard and I graduated with an ATAR of 99.50 and RAW 50 in VCE Psychology in 2021 and will once again be offering tutoring including trial sessions in 2026!

Why study psychology with Richard?

Current Melbourne Medical Student with demonstrated excellence in psychology at both VCE and University Levels (a consistent top 2% scorer across first, second and third year university psychology subjects) giving me the knowledge and expertise required to teach the new study design

4 years of dedicated tutoring experience with a demonstrated history of helping students achieve their academic goals meaning I know exactly how to demystify psychology concepts in engaging and approachable ways

Formal psychology teaching experience at a top selective school under the supervision of VCAA assessors of 10+ years giving me unique insight into exactly what they are looking for!

About the lesson

My classes are focused on two things, helping you to master the content through active learning and then applying that content mastery to the exam so that you can achieve your dream score. They're simple but effective.

Unconvinced? My students’ results speak for themselves!

Over the last four years my students have achieved:
The perfect score of 50 alongside other top echelon scores of 48, 46s and 45s
A median study score of 40 (approximately the top 9% of the state)
