About Cathrein
With 12 years of experience as a Spanish tutor, I have dedicated my career to helping High School and College students achieve their language learning goals through personalised instruction and continuous support. I believe that every learner has unique abilities, learning styles, and aspirations. Instead of following the same teaching method for everyone, I design lessons that suit each student's pace, interests, and academic requirements.
My teaching covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and conversation practice. I simplify complex grammar rules into easy-to-follow explanations and reinforce learning through practical exercises, interactive discussions, and real-life examples. My lessons encourage active participation because students learn best when they are involved rather than simply listening.
I place great importance on building confidence. Many students feel nervous about speaking a new language, so I create a positive and welcoming learning environment where they feel safe to practice without fear of making mistakes. Regular feedback, progress tracking, and personalised study strategies help students recognise their improvements and stay motivated throughout their learning journey.
