About Reem

I am a Maths graduate who genuinely enjoys teaching, and loves to share knowledge & passion with whomever needs it. I am quite a confident & friendly person in my day to day life. When it comes down to education, I take my job very seriously in order to get maximum results. I speak both English and Arabic fluently, and some French, which I am very confident in teaching. My passion for what I do shines through my work and the results my students achieve.

I have been tutoring for a while now, I have professional experience working in a tuition centre, as well as experience in one to one tuition. I have often turned under achieving pupils into A* students. I have excellent knowledge of the UK Maths maths national curriculum, and I specialise in 11+ exams, SATS, GCSEs and A-levels. I went to a grammar school myself so I know what is required in order to secure a spot there.

I take my students' education very seriously. I usually start with a Maths assessment to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and then compile a list of topics we need to work on. I also like to give the students a test every 6 weeks on the topics we have learned to ensure they understand everything. I also like building a personal rapport with my students and their parents, and I have a talent in making students wanting to learn about the subject, instead of it being a chore. My confidence and friendly personality, accompanied with the passion for the subjects I teach, have made my past teaching experiences very successful.

Please note that my tuition fee starts from £35 an hour, and I tutor for a minimum of 1.5 hours a week. Please message me for more details.

About the lesson

The first lesson is an assessment to gauge the student's strengths and weaknesses. Feedback is given to the student and parent the following day.

Each regular weekly lesson will consist of 45 minutes of personalised notes and examples on a specific topic, and 45 minutes of exam questions on that topic.

Minimum lesson time is 1.5 hours, while 2-hour lessons provide a cheaper hourly rate.
