About Stephanie
I am a PhD candidate specializing in quantitative psychology. I have successfully defended both an honours and masters thesis in statistical methods - specifically psychometrics - and have several conference presentation credits. I am also working on a few publications and have experience in statistical consulting.

To learn statistics often means to do statistics, and this is the approach that I take when it comes to teaching. Whether you're learning through software or doing by-hand calculation, or aiming to understand the theory behind undergraduate statistical concepts, I like to create problems that we can work through together one-on-one to provide the opportunity for learners to ask questions as they arise through the work. Tutoring sessions can work as a supplement to coursework, a refresher for people who have not used their statistics skills in awhile, or simply those who are interested in developing greater statistical literacy. Classes are aimed specifically at students in the area of social sciences, especially psychology and sociology.
