About Saffiha
I am a qualified primary school teacher with two degrees in teaching and over three years of experience delivering phonics in a primary school setting. I became a teacher because I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and discover a love of learning, especially in those important early years when reading skills are first developed. I have a strong understanding of early reading development and use proven, structured approaches to help children make rapid progress, adapting lessons to suit each child’s individual needs.

My phonics lessons follow the well-established Read Write Inc. (RWI) scheme and are carefully tailored to each child’s level and learning style. Sessions are fun, structured and supportive, focusing on sound recognition, blending, tricky words and early reading skills to build confidence and rapid progress. As a qualified Year 1 teacher with SEN experience, I use patient, engaging approaches to help every child feel successful and enjoy learning to read.
