I am qualified Special Needs Teacher and got 30 years exp supporting students from 3yrs to 17yrs of age in NZ kindys and Schools. I was in Samoa from 2017 to 2022 and tutored Autistic boy 13yrs old for 3years.
I prep Maths, English, Art for students depending on age and the curriculum plan. Also look at the students learning needs to help them complete tasks. Lessons for tutoring students i set at least 15mins teach-discussion/15mins on task/ 15mins debrief and mark work. Depending on the students 15mins is added if more time is needed on the subject.
I teach to allow the student to ask/ try/listen/ enjoy their learning! be able to complete
