About Liz
I am a patient, friendly tutor who has a passion for teaching English. I hold a qualification in TESOL - Teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have around 10 years of teaching experience as a teaching student, reading coach in schools, and private tutor. I love working with different people, getting to know their different personalities and learning styles. I love being able to see what I teach resonate with them. I believe there is potential in each and every one of my students but am convinced that it is just a matter of searching for the learning style that best suits them. I love being able to explore what those styles are for each learner and watch my students reach new heights.

Each learner's experience with me is unique. The curriculum is customized to the learners specific outcomes or goals.
Lessons entail an introductory session where we get to know each other and work out your unique outcomes and what you wish to accomplish at the end of our time together. We build a customized curriculum and use multiple resources in order to meet those outcomes. I use a Hybrid style of teaching which incorporates personality, interests and preferences to improve the learning experience by relating topics to things that interest you.
My lessons are based in English for learners wishing to improve on English listening and speaking, Reading and viewing, Writing and presenting, language and literature.
