My favourite play is: 'A Streetcar Named Desire' by Tennessee Williams My favourite poem is: 'Love Songs in Age' by Philip Larkin In my free time, I like to act, sing, read, write & cycle.

As a trained actor, I am passionate about embodied, creative methods of learning. When getting to know each learner, I first find out what kind of tutor makes them tick before tailoring the content to their needs. Lessons will always be deliberately structured, highly discursive, and rooted in developing metacognitive capabilities to empower each learner to take their own learning into their own hands. After 10 years of learning Russian, I am also well-placed to understand the unique challenges that learners of a foreign language face in their journey. Lessons typically last 55mins, unless otherwise requested. Qualifications include: BA (Hons) English & Russian, University of Oxford, PGCE (with QTS), TEFL qualification. I have over five years' experience teaching English literature & language, drama, EFL & Creative Writing. I can teach all ages from 10 years old onwards: 11+, KS3, GCSE, A-level, adult-level EFL.
