About Miss Smith
I have worked in primary education settings for over 10 years and I am passionate about children loving learning.
Previously I have worked as a 1:1, HLTA and as a qualified primary educations teacher. I am an experienced, confident teacher who has an understanding of the areas of need and barriers that may mean a child is not making the progress expected or wanted.
My goal is to work closely with learners to not only build their knowledge but also their confidence. I believe that all children are different and a variety of requirements that cannot always be met in a school environment.

Lessons will build on the learners knowledge by retrieving and also exploring new learning. Personalised learning based on specific interests to enhance their knowledge while following primary curriculum requirements.
Covid has meant that many child have gaps in learning and with the pace of school life no time to go back and ensure a pupils understanding. Personal learning and tutoring sessions allow your child to recover missed learning/misconceptions and time to truly absorb and embed the learning.
