I am passionate about the role of education in creating opportunities. Having enjoyed teaching for many years, tutoring gives me the opportunity to focus on the parts of the job where my expertise can be most beneficial to students. I have taught the current AQA A Level specification for 7 years and have received exam board training on the marking and content of the spec. I can assess knowledge and skills gaps and create relevant and engaging activities and strategies. As an English teacher as well I specialise in improving writing and essay technique aligned with the mark scheme.
