About Iqbal

I have been a classroom teacher since 1997, holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE from Warwick University. Over 20 years of teaching Computer Science and ICT across secondary schools and Sixth Form colleges has given me a deep understanding of what students need to succeed — whether that is mastering Python, preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or building confidence with programming from scratch. I cover all major exam boards including AQA, OCR, Eduqas, and Cambridge International, and I hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate. My lessons are calm, structured, and tailored to each student's individual pace and goals

About the lesson

Each lesson is structured around the student's specific exam board and current syllabus. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then work through concepts step by step using real examples, live coding exercises, and past paper questions. Progress is built in from the very first session — students leave each lesson with clear notes, a task to consolidate learning, and the confidence to tackle the next topic.
