About Shefali
I graduated with a 2.1 class in Biomedical Science BSc then went onto studying a PGCE at the University Of Warwick. I have taught in 3 schools in the UK and internationally- I have worked for the British Council as teacher and have been an ambassador for the Teach For India campaign. With such experience my students thrive in lessons, and 100% of students show progress within the first 3 months of tuition! I offer Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons at GCSE and Biology at A-level.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my role as a science tutor for year 7 to A-level students, for over 7 years. Students are individualistic and therefore my lessons are designed for each student specifically. As a tutor I tailor classes by identifying strengths and weaknesses (including SEND) to promote good progress! To help students maximize understanding of the core curriculum, I use a range of rote and progressive teaching methods which helped to instil a growth mindset in children (academic poster available).
