About Barbara
I qualified as a teacher of business studies and ICT 17 years ago and have mainly taught year 7 through to year 11 students. I have also been a private tutor, however, I am currently studying HTML, CSS, Javascript and Python with a view to changing career and becoming a freelance Front End Web Developer. I would like to take my new skills to the next level as a private tutor to pass on to interested students, as I believe that coding should be available to everyone.

My lessons are created using lesson plans based on the individual's learning ability and tasks are set in small quantities with a hands on approach to reinforce learning. I also utilise question and answer sessions as a means to monitor learning. Small projects are also used as and when required.
