About Beth
About Me
Hi, I’m Beth, a qualified teacher with over 5 years of experience working with children across the primary age range. I have a passion for helping children build confidence, develop their skills and discover a love of learning.
Throughout my teaching career, I have supported children with a wide range of abilities and needs, adapting my approach to ensure every child feels valued and successful. I understand that every child learns differently, and I believe that creating a positive, encouraging environment is key to helping them thrive.
I specialise in supporting children with phonics, early reading, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, handwriting and maths, as well as providing GCSE English support. My sessions are carefully planned around each child’s individual needs, whether they need help catching up, extra confidence, or further challenge.
I aim to make tutoring enjoyable and engaging, helping children feel proud of their progress while developing the skills they need both in and out of the classroom.

I am a qualified teacher with over 5 years of classroom experience, offering personalised tutoring sessions to support children’s learning and confidence.
I have experience teaching across the primary age range and can provide support with:
Phonics and early reading

GCSE English support
Every session is carefully planned around your child’s individual needs, helping them to build confidence, develop skills and enjoy their learning.
I offer a friendly, supportive approach where children feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes and grow in confidence.
