About Newton

I am currently a leader in a busy inner London school for Modern Foreign Languages and a school governor. I am often involved in offering trainings for teachers nationally and mentoring new teachers. I am passionate about my culture and language hence I have only recently made the decision to continue tutoring for learners with wider range of purposes from different walks of life. I am a UK qualified teacher (QTS) with DBS who has a PGCE in Mandarin, French and EAL from UCL and Masters in Education from Edinburgh. I had professional training in news broadcasting and presenting in China, so you should expect the highest standards of Mandarin. I work as an examiner for different boards and review exam paper for a popular board, where I can offer you an insight how exam works. About the lesson

I offer lessons on - 1) graduates who are aspired to become teachers. 2)GCSE, A-level preparation 3) business Chinese and culture 4) Children who are willing to be raised up in bilingual environment. 5) explore the Chinese language, culture, politics and history. 6) intensive bootcamp days/short course And of course, other purposes. The highlight of having a tutor is to receive highly tailored tuition. I have tutees with a range of experience from school children to big names in wider industry. Drawing upon my experience ranging from grammar, independent and high performing comprehensive schools in the U.K., you are assured with the provision of the highest quality, efficiency and attention that you can find online. For young learners, I explore your strengths and provide you with a surgical focus so as to progress with big leaps. You should expect high expectation with a genuine care. I teach misconceptions in the most effective ways, so expect lots of light bulb moments in my lessons. For learners with business objectives, we agree on an action plan with a timeline roadmapping your goals, achievements and review points. You should expect professionalism, a wealth of experience and a distanced vision focusing on your aim. For learners with purpose of leisure and cultural exploration, I gather your interests and provide a series of recommendation of the latest trends in Chinese culture and most topical debates. I also offer immersive experience lessons, such as visiting museums or restaurants to show you the brilliance of oriental culture.
