About Hayley
My love of language led me to complete a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Sussex. I loved the subject so much that I decided to teach it. I gained a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) with the University of Southampton and QTLS (Qualified Teaching and Learning Status) with the Society for Education and Training.
To incorporate my love of language, teaching, and learning, I found that teaching English as a foreign language would be a fantastic opportunity. To do this, I completed and passed a 120 hour, accredited TEFL course, where I enhanced my expertise on examination types, feedback, behaviour management, the teaching of listening, reading, writing, and speaking, along with curriculum and lesson planning.

I taught English Language A Level and English Language GCSE for two years, and prior to that I supported children with educational needs in a classroom and 1:1 setting.
My 60-minute sessions are centred around you, your needs, and your language goals. I work with people aged 11+, working towards GCSE and EFL qualifications.
