About Deborah Christine
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 20 years experience teaching in classrooms and tutoring. I have taught in Australia, Asia and Europe and also owned my own private school from Jan 2006 to December 2008. I have held roles and responsibilities of Lead Teacher, curriculum coordinator, curriculum development and implementation. I have worked with children with intellectual and physical disability, autism and ADHD/ADD. I have trained teachers in behaviour management strategies and also in instructing them how to develop effective teaching resources and how to implement these in a fun and vibrant way.

I am successful in having students achieve the results they aim to achieve and extend them beyond their believed capacity. I connect with all my students and take time to understand how each child learns and what motivates them to learn. My lessons are fun, engaging and relevant to the individual needs of the child. Success is in creating a learning environment that takes the student from extrinsic learning to the desire to learn for the love of learning. I believe all children have the innate ability and desire to learn when the learning embraces their natural curiosity and creativity.

On lesson packs a $50 deposit is required which will be deducted upon total payment.
In case of a cancellation a catch up lesson may be delivered subject to time availability.
Students who attend lessons in my home pay $25 per hours instead of $30.
