About Ellie
I am a qualified teacher and private tutor specialising in Special Educational Needs (SEN), with a passion for helping children and young people reach their full potential. I have experience supporting learners from Early Years through to GCSE level, providing personalised teaching that builds confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
I understand that every learner is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet individual needs, strengths and learning styles. I create a calm, supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable, understood and motivated to succeed.
My experience in education allows me to identify barriers to learning and use effective strategies to help students make progress, whether they need academic support, additional SEN support, confidence building or preparation for key stages and exams.
I am dedicated, patient and committed to making learning enjoyable, accessible and rewarding for every student I work with.

I am a qualified teacher and private tutor specialising in Special Educational Needs (SEN), with experience supporting learners from Early Years through to GCSE level. My approach is personalised, patient and focused on building confidence, independence and a love of learning.
I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual learner’s needs, using a range of techniques including structured activities, visual resources, practical learning, questioning, repetition and personalised strategies to help students understand concepts and make progress. I believe in creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable, valued and motivated to achieve their goals.
Lessons are tailored to each learner and typically last between 45–60 minutes, depending on age, ability and individual requirements. Each session is planned carefully to match the student’s level, whether they need support with early development, primary learning, exam preparation or GCSE subjects.
My lessons are suitable for children and young people from Early Years up to GCSE level, including learners who may benefit from additional SEN support, confidence building, personalised learning approaches or targeted academic intervention.
