About Sonia
Teaching is my ultimate passion! I have loved being a teacher in schools as well as a tutor and yoga teacher. I find it incredibly rewarding being able to watch my students grow and learn with me. My ethos is always to establish positive relationships with my students by creating a calm, happy and supportive atmosphere which nutures them and inspires them to reach their full potential. I really believe in providing young people with a mentor who inspires and motivates them, so this is something I aim to be for every student that I work with.

I have a First-Class History degree and award for the best dissertation for the year that I graduated, which has enabled me to have a great deal of knowledge and skills for how to write the perfect essay and dissertation across the humanities, including English! I use systematic approaches to teach essay writing and content knowledge. I believe in giving my students easy-to-follow steps when it comes to revision and writing responses so that they can achieve the grades they deserve!
All of my classes are personalised so that I can reach my learners' specific goals and needs. My aim is to always make my learner feel comfortable, confident and engaged when learning with me in order for them to reach their highest potential!
