I am a Structual Engineer, working for about 2,5 years. I started tutoring while I was a student and been tutoring for about 9 years now. I do one on ones as well as groups, big or small.

My teaching method may vary from student to student. I do a small evaluation test before the first lesson to gauge any indication of strengths and weaknesses. I found that students sometimes just don't test well even though they know their work, so I focus on getting the student test ready over and above understanding the content. I focus on basics, because sometimes that is lacking the most. I also try to encourage students to become independent learners, how to understand, interpret and articulate information so that that they can also teach themselves as they go along.
