About Brittany
Teaching Spanish has given me the opportunity to work with around 150 High School and College students during the last 18+ years. Every student has brought unique challenges and achievements, allowing me to grow as both a teacher and a mentor. My teaching philosophy is based on making learning practical, engaging, and easy to understand.
My lessons develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, and listening through interactive learning methods. I use discussions, worksheets, storytelling, real-life conversations, and regular revision sessions to help students strengthen their understanding. Students are encouraged to communicate confidently and learn through active participation.
One of my most rewarding achievements has been helping learners improve their grades while gaining confidence in speaking Spanish. Many students who were once hesitant to communicate now participate actively and enjoy using the language.
I believe patience, encouragement, and consistency are essential qualities for effective teaching. My classroom is a welcoming place where students can learn comfortably, ask questions freely, and continue improving step by step. My mission is to help every learner reach their full potential in Spanish.
