About Claire
I have always done private tutoring alongside my teaching career of 10 years.
I have taught in the UK, China and on a tiny island in the Caribbean. I have a passion for travel and biology.
I have just become a new Mum and the flexibility of tutoring allows me to spend more time with my baby.

I’m more of a coach/mentor than teacher. I like to use analogies to help with memory and understanding a concept. I ask scaffolded questions to guide you to an answer rather than talk at you or tell you. I am very reasonable and understanding of study barriers and blocks and will help you overcome them while holding you accountable to your goals.
I know biology can be tough and fascinating. My enthusiasm and passion for the subject will help boost you through the course.
