I am passionate about education, teaching high school science and then also tutoring swimming to all ages from babies to pensioners.
My work and hobbies revolve around teaching, so I put a lot of effort and energy into my lessons.

Hi, I'm a current teacher of science teaching all 3 disciplines from year 7 to 11. I am currently teaching both AQA and OCR exam board specifications but can tutor others if needed.
I can help to bring a student out of their shell and gain confidence. I have successfully worked with a range of ages and prior knowledge levels. Adaptability is one of my strengths, meaning I don't have a single, fixed approach to my lessons. I will work with the student/parent to determine what is the best approach for them.
I can create a tailored plan of how we shall structure the lessons and content needed to be covered, dependent on when the student begins lessons and what their end goal is.
Additionally, I completed a biomedical science degree, in which I obtained a first class degree and finished top of my class. This knowledge allowed me to stretch and challenge students who are preparing for A Levels in science.
Despite studying a degree which focused on Biology/Chemistry knowledge, I specialised in teaching Physics at GCSE, this has allowed me to have a very thorough and broad knowledge at a higher level of each of the sciences.
I can help guide students in both the subject, and revision techniques, to maintain their successes.
