I am Mr DHIR, and I am a fully qualified secondary school mathematics teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring students across Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level and Further Mathematics.
My approach is tailored to the individual needs of each student. I begin by identifying strengths, weaknesses and any gaps in understanding before creating a personalised learning plan. Lessons focus on building confidence, developing problem-solving skills and ensuring a strong understanding of key mathematical concepts rather than simply memorising methods.
I use a combination of explanation, worked examples, guided practice and exam-style questions to help students make rapid progress. Regular assessments and feedback allow both students and parents to track improvement and focus on areas requiring additional support.
Typical lessons are 60 to 90 minutes long, depending on the student's age, level and requirements. Lessons are structured, engaging and designed to maximise learning while maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
I have extensive experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, helping many achieve grades significantly above their predicted outcomes. My classroom experience as a secondary school teacher enables me to understand current specifications, examination techniques and common misconceptions that students face.
Lessons are suitable for students aged 11 to 18, including Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level and Further Mathematics students. Whether a student needs support to improve confidence, catch up on missed learning or achieve top grades, I provide structured and effective tuition to help them reach their goals.
