About Rebecca

Hi,

My name is Rebecca and I’m a qualified English secondary school teacher. I currently teach years 7 through to 11. I teach AQA English Language and Literature GCSE and am also a GCSE examiner for AQA. This means I know the requirements inside out and what students need to do to achieve their desired results in their GCSE papers.

I am flexible in offering tailored tutoring support for the areas you feel you most need help with - whether this is exam practice, help with reading comprehension and analytical skills, or understanding a key text and its quotations. My style of tutoring allows students maximum time to practice themselves, under my guidance and with regular feedback to ensure you are making good progress.

Ideally, sessions would be held at my house near central Plymouth, or I am also available for online tutoring. As I am a full-time teacher, my availability is from 4pm onwards on weeknights.

I am happy to do one-to-one tutoring or small group sessions - whichever you feel most comfortable with.
