About Katherine
I am passionate about Science and believe that it is fundamentally important that passion is passed on. Having qualified as a teacher I believe that the importance of one-to-one time is paramount to the success of the students and allows for better tailoring of the teaching method to the student.

My approach to teaching involves clear communication, breaking difficult subjects down into simpler concepts that are more easily understood. I also believe firmly in tailoring teaching to the individual, as each child learns in different ways.
I find that many students have difficulty identifying specific areas that they struggle with, so I use past papers and frequent quizzes to identify areas of weakness, so that these areas can be targeted for improvement.
