About Kaan
Hello! I’m a friendly and approachable tutor with a love of learning that I’m passionate about sharing with others. Teaching allows me to inspire curiosity and help students achieve their potential, whether at primary or secondary level, or in ESL. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing chess, going on long walks, reading, and writing, all of which keep me engaged and creative. My primary motivation for teaching is to spread my enthusiasm for learning and create lessons that are both enjoyable and rewarding for every student.

I’m a qualified QTS primary teacher with a PGCE and a 2:1 degree in Politics, Philosophy, and History, as well as a qualified TEFL teacher. I offer personalised tutoring for learners of all ages, combining strong subject knowledge with a friendly and approachable teaching style. Primary Tuition: I specialise in KS1 and KS2, including Reading, Writing, Maths, and general curriculum. I love creating fun and engaging lessons tailored to each child’s needs, and I have experience working with SEN students, helping them build confidence and achieve their potential. Secondary Tuition: I am also available to teach RE (with Philosophy), History, and Politics at secondary level. Lessons are designed to deepen understanding, develop critical thinking, and prepare students for exams with clear, structured guidance. TEFL / ESL Tuition: I offer English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons for mature learners and adults, drawing on my TEFL training to make lessons interactive, practical, and enjoyable.
