About Michael
Your decision to work with a tutor is an investment in your future, and I take that responsibility seriously. My passion for teaching is rooted in over 22 years of frontline experience supporting young people, families, and adults through Youth Work, Health & Social Care, and Safeguarding roles.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals. This experience has taught me that everyone learns differently and progresses at their own pace. As a tutor, I use these skills to create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
My background has also strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, relatable, and understandable way. I manage expectations honestly, set realistic goals, and tailor my approach to each student's needs.
