About Kimberley
I'm originally from the UK and have 3 years experience teaching 5-6 year olds there. A huge focus and high priority for this age group is the teaching of early reading. I believe a strong relationship and understanding of each student is key to planning and delivering lessons which will lead them to progress in their learning.

I'm passionate about making learning immersive, thematic, and contextual for all students. Teaching reading should include a combination of systematic synthetic phonics and comprehension while building enjoyment and pleasure for reading. This along with consistent assessment and continual assessment will help identify gaps in learning while helping me plan sessions to aid progress.
