About Olivia
Hi, I’m Olivia! I’m a qualified primary school teacher with a BA in Primary Education and QTS, with experience teaching children across the primary age range.
I have a particular passion for English, reading and helping children develop confidence in their own abilities. Through my teaching experience, I’ve worked with children with a wide range of learning needs and understand that every child learns differently.
I’m friendly, patient and encouraging, and I love finding creative ways to make learning feel enjoyable rather than overwhelming. My aim is to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.
Outside of teaching, I’m an aspiring writer and an enthusiastic reader, so English and storytelling are a genuine passion of mine!

My lessons are friendly, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I aim to build confidence as well as develop strong skills in English, reading and phonics.
As a qualified primary school teacher, I use a range of teaching strategies, games and activities to make learning enjoyable and accessible. Lessons can focus on reading fluency, comprehension, phonics, spelling, grammar or writing, depending on where your child needs the most support.
I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable and successful, so I adapt the pace and approach of each lesson to suit the individual child. Whether your child needs help catching up, building confidence or would simply benefit from an extra challenge, my lessons provide positive, encouraging and purposeful support.
