About Mike
I see myself as a fun, caring and compassionate person. I want all children and young learners to access an education and am passionate about inclusion.
I like to spend my free time visiting rural places and going on hikes - I've climbed a lot of mountains in the UK.
I also enjoy going to concerts/gigs and see a lot of DJs playing live music.
As well as play some Xbox, who doesn't, eh!

With a background in performing arts, my lessons are creative, well resourced and highly engaging. I am able to bring the lesson to the pupil, tap into their world as well as the wider.
I am currently a KS3 class teacher but given the nature and academic needs of the students I am experienced at following a pre- key stage standards approach.
My lessons are for all students across many ages, it would all depend on the student and where they are developmentally, academically and socially. I can adapt the curriculum to cater for students across the entire autism spectrum.
