About Gift
Hi, I'm Gift, a qualified primary school teacher with over eight years of experience teaching children in the UK and internationally.
I am currently a Year 1 Lead at a British curriculum school in Dubai and have previously worked as a Phonics Lead in London. Throughout my career, I have supported children with a wide range of abilities and learning needs, helping them develop confidence and make strong progress.
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic teacher who believes that positive relationships are at the heart of successful learning. I take the time to understand each child as an individual and create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves.
I love seeing children have those "I get it!" moments and watching their confidence grow. My aim is for every child I work with to leave a session feeling successful and proud of their progress.

I am a qualified primary teacher with several years of classroom experience in the UK and internationally. I currently work as a Year 1 Lead and have previously led phonics, giving me extensive experience supporting children with early reading, writing and Maths.
My lessons are engaging, structured and tailored to each child's individual needs. I begin by identifying gaps in learning and then use clear modelling, guided practice and independent tasks to build both confidence and understanding. I believe children learn best when they feel successful, challenged and comfortable making mistakes.
Sessions typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and are ideal for primary-aged children, particularly those in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2. I specialise in phonics, reading fluency, writing and primary Maths, including supporting children who need additional confidence or help closing gaps in their learning.
Parents will also receive clear feedback on their child's strengths, areas for development and practical ways to continue supporting learning at home.
