I’m a qualified primary school teacher with six years of classroom experience. I love teaching because I enjoy helping children understand how they learn and watching their confidence grow. I’m especially passionate about literacy and numeracy, and I enjoy breaking skills down into clear, achievable steps so learning feels manageable and positive. I believe every child can succeed when they feel supported, understood, and encouraged.

My tutoring style is personalised, structured, and supportive. I begin by getting to know each student’s interests and strengths so lessons feel meaningful and engaging. I use simple diagnostic activities to identify what skills the student already has and what their next learning step should be. Each session includes clear, explicit teaching of a new skill, guided practice where we work together, and opportunities for independent practice. Skills are carefully scaffolded and built upon, with students progressing once they feel confident and understanding is shown through assessment.
