About Saleha Hafiz
I am a qualified teacher in an outstanding school in London. I have got almost 10 years of classroom experience. I have taught children from Reception to Year 6, which includes those with special needs such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism as well as Speech and Language Delay to name a few.
I am currently tutoring for Maths, English Writing, Reading and Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPAG) lessons. I am up to date with key teaching strategies and thoroughly know the National Curriculum in order to aid your child’s learning.

My lessons will be based specifically on outcomes stated in the National Curriculum.
With regards to maths, I will be focusing on supporting children to develop fluency, mastery and problem-solving skills. For online sessions I will use online visual resources to aid pupils' understanding and face to face sessions, physical resources will be at hand.
In terms of English Writing, I will have a chosen text type to focus on for each unit and assess using criteria based on transcription, grammar, etc.
For Reading, I will have targeted questions to develop children's comprehension by focussing on vocabulary, inference, prediction, explanation, sequencing, summarising and retrieval skills.
I will assess children's progress at the end of each unit via testing or a written outcome.
