About Ryan
I am a fully qualified science teacher with over 5 years of experience in the profession, including having recently worked as the Head of Science at a top Preparatory school. Throughout my career I have taught KS2/KS3 and KS4 Science towards exam specifications with an outstanding record of success. I am looking to tutor students at GCSE level in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics, particularly those who are looking to refine and improve their exam technique to ensure excellent examination results.

I am a dynamic and engaging classroom practitioner who is flexible and responsive to the needs of the students whom I teach. I take a structured approach to each lesson I deliver, but ensure that I tailor the delivery of content to the learning styles of individual students.
In my teaching I strive to synthesis related topics so that students are able to make links for themselves between scientific concepts in order to provide a deeper and more accurate understanding of the subject. I take a patient approach with students, aiming to build confidence and independence in their understanding of scientific phenomena.
