About Miss

I am a qualified children nurse and primary school teacher.
I am currently a freelance tutor/babysitter (I have 2 permanent clients at the moment) Hoping to intake more.
I offer the following help:
Early Years Tutoring (Nursery, Reception) Maths & English
Year 1-6 (KS1&KS2) Maths & English
GCSE: Psychology & Sociology
UCAS support - Personal statements help, Interview preps
University Level: Nursing course, Teaching/Education course.

About the lesson

With my degree of Nursing and Primary Education; I have worked with children in all ages. For Early Years and KS1, I like to utilise fun playful approach for them to enjoy learning with me. My current clients very much enjoy having lessons with me, and always ask for more. They learn and play at the same time and tends to pick up very quickly with my technique of teaching. You will receive 1 to 1 support tutoring from me, which you will not get at a school. It will help them pick up essential everyday communication, academic skills that helps develop their growth not only in education.

KS2 or above, I like to make friends with them so they feel comfortable learning with me, it won’t be boring old class like they have at school, as they will just zoom out and not focus! I want to keep learning active, fun and engaging.

UCAS/UNIVERSITY level: Zoom lessons are recommended as these can be done over webcam, my recent client really enjoy her lesson with me. She just began her course in Nursing, and due to the current situation, university doesn’t tend to give much support in essay writing, referencing, placements support. I can offer any help, please feel free to ask!

My rates according to each student can vary, some I charge cheaper than £30 so please do feel free to ask first. Also if it is a long term thing, please feel free to message me, I can do a weekly plan rate which will be more affordable and easier!
