About Gerda
Hello and welcome! My name is Gerda, and I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher with experience teaching Grades 1 to 3, including multigrade classes. I am passionate about helping young learners build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and life skills, while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. I teach in both Afrikaans and English, and I personalize each lesson to suit the learner’s needs and learning style. My approach combines structured planning, interactive activities, and individual attention, ensuring that every student can understand concepts clearly and make real progress.
