About Laura
Learning a language is an exciting journey, and having the right guidance makes all the difference. As a qualified educator holding a degree in English Studies, a Master's in Secondary Education (MAES), and a specialised Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (MASELE), I combine a strong academic background with hands-on international teaching experience in British and Spanish schools. Because of this, I deeply understand the specific challenges English speakers face when learning Spanish. Every online class is dynamically tailored to your goals, pace, and interests using interactive, communicative methods to make learning both effective and enjoyable. Your progress is my priority. Book a lesson and let’s achieve your goals together!

Welcome! If you are looking to learn Spanish in a dynamic, supportive, and effective way, you are in the right place. Whether you want to master grammar naturally, improve your fluency, or prepare for official goals, my classes are completely tailored to your personal needs.
Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I follow a communicative and task-based approach, deeply rooted in modern second-language acquisition principles. Instead of dry, mechanical grammar drills, we learn through real-world contexts, authentic materials, and interactive tasks. I use an inductive method where you discover how grammar works naturally, backed by visual scaffolds and digital tools to make lessons engaging.
Typical Length of a Lesson: Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which is the optimal time to warm up, introduce new concepts, practise through guided interaction, and wrap up with constructive feedback. (Shorter 45-minute or longer 90-minute sessions are also available upon request).
Qualifications and Experience: I am a professionally trained educator holding a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (MASELE) and a Master's in Secondary Education (MAES), alongside a degree in English Studies. I have extensive international teaching experience working as a Modern Language Assistant at Wellington School in the UK and CIEE in Spain, as well as tutoring students of various ages and backgrounds.
Who the Lessons Are For: My online lessons are designed for students of all levels (from absolute beginners A1 to advanced C1) including teenagers, university students, and adult learners. Whether you need conversational practice, academic support, or professional development, every lesson is adapted entirely to your pace and goals.
Let's make learning Spanish an inspiring and enjoyable journey!
