About Andrew

I'm a current qualified teacher of Latin, Classics, and Ancient Greek. Having graduated from my Master's in Ancient History, I fell sideways into teaching, but never looked back. I love getting to "live" my favourite subject every day. I have taught every age group and level from Beginners to University standard, ages 8-25 and am accomplished at building an easy rapport and supportive atmosphere for every pupil. Every lesson is different, because every student engages with the Ancient World in their own way, which is so energising!

About the lesson

Fun, comical, pupil-centred. I don't teach classes, I teach students.
I use a mix of resources and especially Wayground for online practice.

I have written my own GCSE Greek course including dozens of original & mythological stories (no, not with AI!).

Perfect! Andrew is the best teacher I ever met! his teaching style is very very organized and his dedication to teaching is truly impressive! Learning Latin and German at the same time can be challenging but Andrew made it possible. I'm sincerely grateful for his efforts all the time.
