About Peter
I am a qualified teaching working in Northern Ontario within the Junior-Intermediate and Senior divisions. I graduated from Laurentian University's Outdoor Adventure Leadership program in 2022, followed by the Concurrent Education program in 2023. I am passionate about the outdoors, music, and healthy active living. My goal for my career is to ensure that my students develop a love for learning and feel inspired to try new things and to push themselves to broaden their understanding of the world. I believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity at learning and I feel that tutoring is a good way to help achieve that goal.

Lessons will build the foundational skills and knowledge for the content being discussed, using a scaffolding approach to learning. Lessons will consist of an introduction to activate our thinking, building into an explanation with an emphasis on practice and repetition. Lessons will be concluded with an exit-card type problem solving question to see where the understanding of the topic is at. I am comfortable teaching students from grade 6 through the senior high school grades.
