About Gabi

I am a qualified history teacher with over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have taught a multitude of history curricula and content for different exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA and OCR. I have taught all levels from KS3 to A level, and I specialise in KS4 (GCSE). I have a proven track record of helping students achieve their desired exam grade. My aim in tutoring is to bring history alive and to make learning as fun and interesting as possible. I encourage learners to build transferable skills and guide them to draw connections between the past and the present. I can also offer tutoring for other humanities subjects. I am passionate about the humanities and encourage students to make cross-curricular links across the subjects. I have experience teaching History, Geography, Archaeology, Art and History of Art at high schools and sixth forms.

I am currently a full time Masters student with flexibility availability.

About the lesson

I am patient, encouraging and student-centred. I will work at a pace and level that is comfortable for you. As a humanities teacher, I have experience teaching 11-18 year olds and I am familiar with exam techniques that will advance your learning, as well as your grade. I can help you excel at your history A-level or GCSE. Lessons are often 1 hour. We can arrange lessons and timings that are tailored around your schedule. I have created a lot of useful resources, guides and worksheets to progress your learning on any topic. I offer my first online lesson for free.
