About Aoife
I have a BA in English literature and history and an MA in Gender, sexuality, and culture. Teaching gives me the chance to support students in a meaningful way: helping them realize they can understand theory, they can write strong essays, and they can achieve great results. Seeing students grow, ask questions, and feel proud of their progress is the reason I love tutoring. This also gives me a valuable chance to learn something myself - from tutoring experience to the unique perspective of each student.

Providing grinds/tutoring sessions for English and History at Junior Cert/Leaving Cert as well as university students who need help with academic writing, research projects, theory modules, or general humanities support.
I focus on building understanding to help students simultaneously learn and develop their own approach to revision, exams and essay writing so they can discover what learning techniques works well for them.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, but this can be altered depending upon what suits the student
