About Louise

I have over thirty years of experience teaching privately, in state and private education, colleges and universities. I love to build confidence and help people connect with their voices. Vocal lessons are about so much more than just singing. I am a trained hypnotherapist so if you want I can offer this as part of your lesson to help overcome nerves.

About the lesson

I have taught singing since graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire. I specialise in helping those who struggle with anxiety but have taught at University level and prepared dance and acting students for college auditions as well as ABRSM and Guildhall graded examinations. Lessons are fun and focused on individual needs. I am DBS checked, happy to teach at my home studio or in your own home.

Perfect! They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks but Louise has taken that challenge I am a 68 year old gent who has a dream of singing at his daughter's wedding, with only six weeks to prepare for it. I've never sung before in public, 4 weeks in I'm beginning to believe I can sing confidently at the time of the wedding all thanks Louise.
Some of the techniques Louise has given me for the singing we have also transferred to the wedding speech that I will be giving as father of the bride.

Perfect! Perfect! I came to Louise as a senior singer for advice on singing a solo. To learn technique and the confidence of singing on my own.
With her help over a very short time I achieved my goal and I thank her a lot.

Barrie has a fine voice and was an exceptionally receptive pupil. he was a joy to spend an hour with and his hard work paid off with significant improvements. Barry is very self critical that really shouldn’t be hard on himself as he is a pleasure to listen to and watch.
