About Will
My name is Will Bushill. I am a History teacher who has been working in secondary schools for almost 10 years (currently I am working as a Head of History in a West London school). I have worked in various different schools across the country and have helped many students achieve their GCSE in History.
My approach to teaching is to help you feel more confident in your own knowledge and teaching the tools you would need to achieve your desired goal. I believe every learner is different and so I would always be working to create lesson plans to everyone’s individual learning needs.

I am a History and Philosophy graduate from the University of Southampton with a teaching degree from the University of Warwick.I have experience in teaching the Edexcel, AQA and Eduqas exam boards for GCSE History and also teaching the OCR history exam board for A-Level.
For my lessons, I would look to create an individual plan for each student that I teach, typically for the first lesson I would get to know you and what you need to improve on in history including a RAG (Red, Amber, Green) to assess your knowledge within history. I would then build an hour-long lesson based on what we have discussed.
I would like to blend both teaching subject knowledge and also helping with exam technique to improve your history skills. Whilst also targeting areas of weakness in the subject to improve on your confidence in structuring your arguments and answers in your written work.
