About Alice
Inspiring creativity through guitar is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I combine technical expertise, performance experience, and 8 years of teaching knowledge. Lessons begin with essential techniques such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, strumming, rhythm, and tone, gradually progressing to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is introduced practically, showing students how it applies directly to songs they enjoy. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and musical interests, fostering motivation and engagement. I emphasize technical skill alongside expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion through music. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises are integral to developing well-rounded musicianship. Students explore genres like classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop to broaden their musical vocabulary. Structured practice routines, detailed feedback, and guidance help learners overcome challenges effectively. Milestones are celebrated to reinforce progress and confidence. I encourage improvisation, composition, and personal expression to help students develop their unique musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, technical mastery, and artistic freedom to ensure enjoyable and effective learning. Over time, students gain proficiency, performance readiness, and expressive artistry. Teaching guitar is more than instruction—it is mentorship, inspiration, and collaboration. My ultimate goal is to empower students to play confidently, creatively, and authentically. Every lesson is an opportunity to nurture skill, artistry, and lifelong passion for music.

The guitar is a journey, not a destination—and I’m here to guide you every step of the way. With both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I offer lessons built on academic training and real-world performance experience. I teach students how to enjoy the process of learning, not just the result. My lessons start with posture, hand control, and rhythm before moving into advanced playing.
