About Lyra
I am a committed and enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 20 years of professional teaching experience. I teach students from diverse backgrounds, including school children, college students, and working professionals who wish to learn guitar with proper guidance.
Over the years, I have built a strong reputation for helping students achieve steady progress and performance confidence. My teaching philosophy combines structure, patience, and creativity. I believe students should first master the basics such as chord formation, rhythm control, and finger exercises before exploring advanced styles.
I guide them carefully and provide regular feedback to ensure improvement. Many of my students have successfully performed at annual functions, cultural events, and competitions, gaining appreciation for their skills.
I maintain a respectful and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated to practise consistently. My mission is to help every learner build technical excellence, confidence, and a deep connection with music that lasts a lifetime.

My teaching approach for Guitar is designed to develop technical skill, musical understanding, and creative confidence. I follow Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity in every lesson. I start by teaching strong fundamentals such as chord shapes, strumming patterns, rhythm counting, and proper hand coordination.
These skills prepare students for advanced learning. Motivation helps students stay positive and disciplined in their practice routine. Communication ensures that each lesson is interactive and easy to understand. Integrity reflects my dedication to proper technique and structured progression.
Creativity plays an important role in my classes, as I guide students in improvisation, melody creation, and exploring different genres. I also teach music theory concepts and ear training exercises to help students become well-rounded musicians.
