I am a passionate and experienced teacher with over 25 years of experience helping students achieve their full potential in English, Maths and History. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of all abilities, from those needing extra support and confidence to those aiming for the highest grades.
Teaching is more than a profession for me; it is something I genuinely enjoy. I take pride in building positive relationships with students and helping them develop the skills, knowledge and self-belief needed to succeed. My patient, supportive and encouraging approach allows students to feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging topics.

I am an experienced teacher and tutor with over 25 years of experience teaching English, Maths and History to students of all abilities. My lessons are tailored to each learner’s individual needs, whether they require support with building confidence, improving subject knowledge, preparing for examinations, or achieving top grades.
I believe in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Lessons are structured, engaging and focused on clear progress, with regular feedback and targeted practice.
I teach Primary, KS3, GCSE and adult learners, offering both online and face-to-face tuition where appropriate. My aim is to help every student develop the skills, confidence and understanding needed to succeed both academically and beyond the classroom.
As a practising secondary school teacher, I have extensive experience of current GCSE & A Level specifications and examination requirements.
